Art Therapy in Kitchener

If you’re here, it’s because you’ve probably thought “talking is hard!”, or you’ve been around the mental health block a time or four. Maybe you got some questions about who we are, what we stand for and what the heck art therapy is like!

Art Therapy (or in our case Art Psychotherapy) is a starting point for people to realize their full potential. No matter your circumstances, history, and experiences, you’ve got some control over where you’re going. The clients we mesh best with all on some level, understand that. Or, at the very least, recognize the need for change

Our culture is so anti-pain and anti-discomfort that it misses out on a lot of depth of feeling and experience. Life doesn’t need to be so difficult if we just stop listening to all the things everyone tries to tell us are true. It gets easier if we learn to listen to and have confidence in our inner wisdom. Art offers us a creative outlet for all of that, all without the pressure of having to find the words - because, those aren’t required here.

At Creating Room Counselling and Psychotherapy, we aim to creatively empower you!
