About Me:

Hey - I’m Shirley! I’m a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) and art therapy student.

Art has always been a therapeutic tool for grounding, self-expression, and healing in my life. Becoming an art therapist was a natural transition as I enjoy working closely with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

As an Asian immigrant-settler to Canada at a young age who struggled with my neurodivergent brain, I understand how difficult it is to find belonging and community while navigating the multiple roles you take on in life. I work with all kinds of people, but especially individuals or couples who have immigrated to Canada, are neurodivergent, queer, or live in a caregiver role.

If you are someone who struggles to talk about your emotions and needs but wants to be validated and heard, we can explore a variety of ways to express and communicate yourself other than talking. Let’s figure out what works best for you!

Let’s collaborate on how I can best support and guide you through challenges in your life, whether that’s burnout, depression, anxiety and other difficulties you are experiencing.

To see if we’re a good fit, book below for a free 15-min consult and let’s chat!
